IT-Infrastructure in Afghanistan
Related to country: Afghanistan

At Informatik 2004, the annual conference of the German Society of Computer Science, which is currently taking place in Ulm, Germany, there was an interesting panel this morning on IT in Afghanistan. I have posted notes from talks given by a researcher, an entrepreneur and the National IT Policy Advisor of the Afghan Ministery of Communication (in German) to the Weblog in which I am covering the conference. If you don't speak German but are interested in discussing the topic, do drop me a line and I will translate for you.

Hi,

You should definitely get in touch with Omar. I'm not sure how often he drops by the TIG or YCDO sites at the moment, but I know he'd be very interested in the presentations.
